IPP is a clear, colorless and almost odorless liquid with very good spreading properties, which it also transfers to formulations. It is one of the light, so-called "dry emollients" with hardly any greasy effect. It is also used as a solubilizer and moisturizer and can be used in creams, lotions, sprays and gels.
