Farina Opoku launches her own beauty brand NOLES
Celebrity blogger Farina Opoku has presented her own brand NOLES with fragrance manufacturer Mäurer & Wirtz. After a long development period, her first fragrance "NOLES 14" has now been created and is available in the online shop, the company announced. It is a feminine creation that combines elegance, luxury and the versatile personality of Farina Opoku. With two million followers, Opoku is one of Germany's best-known influencers. The label founder, who is also known as "NovaLanaLove", announced that she wants to turn NOLES into an online spa destination that brings the feeling of a luxurious hotel stay home. In addition to new fragrances, the company is also working on other high-quality beauty products.
"The right instinct"
The medium-sized company Mäurer & Wirtz is recognised as one of the leading European houses for fragrance and care products. "When designing NOLES 14, we responded specifically to Farina Opoku's wishes and ideas," says CEO Stephan Kemen. "We can do this because we realise everything in-house, from production and fragrance manufacturing to packaging." Previous collaborations with influencers and celebrities have sometimes sold out in less than 24 hours. "We have the right instinct when it comes to reflecting personalities in fragrances," says Kemen. In addition, French perfumer Alexandra Monet and Parisian fragrance house Firmenich experimented with special, high-quality ingredients for NOLES 14 to create a feminine, soft and modern fragrance. The bottle is designed to reflect noblesse with its clear lines, matt glass and golden lettering.
Realisation of a dream
Founding her own brand had always been one of her goals, says Farina Opoku. "After many years in the social media business, I was now able to use my knowledge and experience to found NOLES with the perfect team." The number 14 is her lucky number. Opoku originally studied journalism and corporate communications and financed her studies with a job in a Cologne boutique. There she photographed her outfits and uploaded them to Instagram. In 2014, she founded the successful blog "NovaLanaLove".
