New Minimum Standard for Packaging Recycling
Recycling Capacities to be Regulated More Closely in Future
The new edition of the Minimum Standard for Recyclable Packaging in Germany is now available. Among other things, it defines a limit value for the translucency of glass. Lacquered bottles, for example, are thus no longer considered recyclable. Nitrocellulose (NC)-based printing inks will also no longer be classified as recyclable in future, as they are less temperature-resistant and reduce the quality of recyclates.
