Henkel Adhesive Technologies has introduced the Technomelt Supra Eco range. According to the manufacturer, this range offers hotmelt adhesives for the packaging sector that can use more than 80 percent bio-based raw material input. In conventional hotmelt adhesives, this figure is usually up to 50 percent. A higher percentage was not practical due to slower line speeds or shortened equipment cleaning cycles.
