The Japanese cosmetics manufacturer Kao has presented its "Dynamic Cell Production System". It reportedly is designed to enable efficient "High Mix Low Volume" production, i.e. the production of several different variants in small quantities. According to the manufacturer, the system combines floating linear transport technology with robotics.
