Clariant has introduced its new emollient Plantasens Pro LM. According to the manufacturer, it is suitable for use in products for skin care, sun care and in colour cosmetic products. It delivers moisture and is designed to combine well with UV filters and pigments. The emollient reportedly enables formulators to meet the current trend towards multifunctional products and to develop, for example, sunscreens or make-up cosmetics that are moisturising.
