The Finnish manufacturer Sulapac has unveiled a new bio-based packaging material for high-end cosmetic products. According to the company, Sulapac Lux is designed to replace hard plastics such as ABS and can be used for fragrance bottle caps. It is made from industrially compostable materials and reportedly does not pollute the environment with microplastics or toxic substances. It is recyclable and offers a glossy, smooth surface.
