Circular Heroes
Müller and ARA launch pilot project
In collaboration with Altstoff Recycling Austria (ARA), Müller has launched the ‘Kreislauf-Helden’ (Circular Heroes) pilot project to raise awareness of the circular economy in packaging. The aim is to familiarise customers with the importance of sustainable packaging and encourage them to make conscious purchasing decisions.
Promoting recycling and reuse
As part of the project, recyclable packaging from Müller's own brand is labelled at the point of sale and the circular aspects are communicated concisely. This packaging, such as refillable pump bottles for soaps, is designed so that it can be easily recycled or reused, which helps to conserve valuable resources. The various AVEO soaps are available directly in refill pouches. These save over 60 per cent material per refill compared to buying a new pump bottle.
Long-term sustainability goals
By using recycled material such as rePET, Müller is setting an example for sustainability and helping to reduce waste. The partnership with ARA supports Müller's commitment to a more environmentally friendly future and strengthens the company's position as a pioneer in the circular economy.
