Weleda Aims To Regain Market Share After Sales Decline

Weleda AG has recorded a slight decline in turnover in 2022. Compared to the previous year, the figure fell by 2.6 per cent to 413.8 million euros. The Swiss-based natural cosmetics company sees the financial year as being characterised by a cooling of consumer sentiment for Weleda due to inflation. In addition, the restructuring at the company's location in France reportedly also played a role in the business development. According to the group, it has made a good start into the new year. It wants to continue to invest in market development and win back market shares.
