Croda has introduced two new cellulose-based ingredients, ChromaPur CV2 and CV7, that offer a sustainable alternative to plastic microbeads. According to the manufacturer, the powders have a surface structure that provides skin care products with sensory and visual advantages. These include, among other things, a soft-focus effect or an enhanced pay-off of the products. Furthermore, decorative cosmetics reportedly gain opacity and colour intensity with ChromaPur.
