Animal testing for the development of cosmetic products will no longer be allowed in Canada. A bill was passed that bans both such practices and the sale of cosmetics that have been tested on animals. This places Canada among the countries that are already following the trend towards ethical cosmetic testing. These include the EU countries, Australia, the United Kingdom and South Korea.
