Beiersdorf receives approval for active ingredient Thiamidol in China
The Hamburg-based Beiersdorf Group has received approval from the Chinese National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its active ingredient Thiamidol 63. The patented anti-pigment active ingredient is considered an effective remedy against hyperpigmentation - an unwanted darkening of the skin. The effectiveness of the ingredient has been proven in more than 100 clinical studies on all skin types and was launched on the market for the first time in 2018 after ten years of research and testing. It is the second anti-pigment ingredient to receive approval in China. The final product is expected to be launched on the Chinese market in the next 12 to 18 months. Further information …
